This is one of a series of four photographs for a commission request from the Curo Gallery on Middlewood Road Sheffield. The request was to emulate the style of artist Dominic Murray.
Although the chilli was photographed as you see it, however I think the image works well with the chilli in the upright position.

This particular piece comprises of selection of fruit; a peach, kiwi fruit, cherries, strawberries and blueberries placed in and around a Chinese rice bowl, set on black background and a mirror to add a true reflection. I stipulate true as it has not been edited into the image.

This was a chance commission. Bev who runs the Curo Gallery was mounting some of images for the guest room/office and she had a recent request for 3 images representing fruit and chillies in the style of Dominic Murray.
I have created four images and they are all finished with a textured oil paint finish in CS6.
Incidentally the customer wanted a non textured finish on the three images they selected.
