Autumn in Loxley Valley

Beacon Woods line the River Loxley in the Loxley Valley. At Low Matlock across the bridge I saw this majestic beech tree with its Tolkien Ent like features and had to photograph it. Not all  the tree canopy has changed colour and the greens add a lovely soft contrast to the golden colours of autumn
