Autumnal Wharnley Burn Waterfall Thsi shot at low level of the waterfall and burn, capturing the leaves on the rocks, fallen from oak, alder and beech. Wharnley Burn is a tributary of the River Derwent near Castleside in County Durham. A lovely secluded spot a short walk from Allensford caravan park across the A68. It is situated within Bog Woods along the River Derwent. I am almost local to the area; I grew up in Bearpark around 20 minutes drive from this location. It always nice to find places back home to photograph.
