Ettrick Bay on the Isle of Bute, with a stormy view of the Isle of Arran.
Arran always seemed to be under a shroud of storm clouds. Ettrick bay has a goldmine of a tea room, and is popular with tourist. It is at the end of the old Tramway which was operational during the Victorian era until 1936.
The weather had been inclement, and it had cleared up mid afternoon when this picture was taken, with the storm clouds moving around but not dropping any rain over the bay.
