Minehead is a seaside town on the North Somerset Coast, in the Bristol Channel. Its location is surrounded by the beautiful undulating Quantock Hills. On a very clear day you can see the coastline and mountains of South Wales.
This long exposure was obtained using Lee Big Stopper 9 10 stop ND filter, the choppy sea has been calmed over a period of 70 seconds, and the clouds have natural blur.
This breakwater groyne is one of many along the beach and they all have the distinctive green markers at the end.
Another interesting feature on the north Somerset coast is the nuclear power plant Hinckley Point which is east of this location.
