Rivelin Falls in Autumn These falls are a little beyond Third Coppice in the Rivelin Valley. There were several falls going all at once and I just had to get over the river via slippery walkway across the top of the falls. My walking boots are great, but any slippery surfaces they are pretty useless. I slipped and got a leg dunked but not soaked. My Tripod was an aid across but I feared I could have gone all the way in. We do have to work for our art.
This was a 10 minute exposure using a Lee Big Stopper (10 stop filter) and a circular polariser. Editing done in Lightoom 4 and Nik Color FX Pro to bring out some colour and detail. The woods in the final throes of Autumn adding some dramatic colour. Available as canvas, wall art and prints at Photo4me
