Torside in Mono

Torside Reservoir in Derbyshire Peak District.

I wanted a landscape format of the reservoir, and keeping the rocks and trees in the foreground. The black and white conversion gives a serene minimalistic look.

It was remarkably peaceful waiting for the right moments to take the photographs, there is more cloud cover and for the long exposure has a great blur.
