![]() Torside Reservoir along the Woodhead Pass in the Derbyshire Peak District. I passed along the this body of water on my way back through to Sheffield via Glossop. I found this scene along the windy B1005 road and found it simply beautiful. I made a return journey and found this spot near just a little walk from the Glossop Sailing Club. It was nearing sunset. The colour version of this was been converted to black and white, as it lends itself to having a minimalistic quality. The trees poking throught the water and their reflections, along with the rocks add foreground interest. The hills on the horizon in partial silouette, with the sweeping clouds, adding an 'S' shape to the picture that compliment the foreground. Although I am not a fan of the electricity pylons, the add interest to the the horizon. Available in canvas, prints and phone covers.
