Torside Reservoir in the Derbyshire Peak District, near Glossop. The sunset is approaching, and the clouds are moving quite quickly and therefore the scene is primed for long exposure. It is still quite a minimalistic image even in this colour version, however the blues and the subtle oranges and yellows of the sun setting behind the clouds have come through. The reservoir appears to be quite full, as the the trees tops are poking out of the surface of the water. There must be a shear drop just beyond the rocks, chose to sit just on the grassy edge. There is a car park on the opposite side of the road from here, which has mapped out a walk to Bleaklow. There appears to be very little walks along this part of the reservoir. There a couple of stops along the road to Glossop which you can get to other parts. Available in canvas, prints and phone covers
