Watchet Harbour View
This view from Watchet harbour comprises with the mainland of Minehead. I propped by tripod on top of the harbour wall, and put on my strongest hard edged graduated filter. This brought out some definition in the storm clouds that had just passed a short time earlier. Apart from some editing and colour tweaking I hoped to capture the mood of the scene. Watchet is a bit of jinx, the first time we went we had only 20 minutes to spend there, and this time we spent around an hour. I can see we will be back hopefully for longer spell and visit it properly. It is beautiful harbour town with amazing views. I had hoped for some serious long exposure work. However time was not our side and sometimes feel that a long exposure can take away the drama of clouds which add so much to a landscape or seascape.
